A house, a cloud, a cypress tree, a mulberry tree or a pathF
such are the meaningful solitary elements that repeatedly
feature in Hernández Pijuan’s landscapes. In these series of
gouaches, the painter has been able to find a suitable
balance between his interest in the formal treatment
of the space and the nuanced, emotional tone suggested
by his mysterious and magical inner landscapes of the soul.
The magnificent poems by Joan Margarit are the perfect
complement to the images.
