Exceptional publisher's copy (exemplaire d'éditeur) of this prestigious bibliophile edition published by Pierre de Tartas, illustrated after Pablo Picasso with the text by Federico García Lorca in French and Spanish. One of the most elaborate and luxurious artist's books ever issued under Tartas' direction, printed in a total edition of 300 copies.
Printed on Japon Nacré paper specially produced for the publisher and authenticatec by a French Ministerial Officer of Justice. The publisher's copy (exemplaire ď'éditeur) contains the complete ensemble of all suites and proofs reserved only for the top deluxe examples.
The volume is illustrated with five original embossed relief engravings (empreintes gravées à froid, including the cover) and fourteen wood engravings within the text (bois gravés), of which ten are in black and four are in colour hors-texte
